The Microscopy Core Facility at Utah State University is a research service unit managed by the Office of Research and Graduate Studies. The facility maintains a scanning electron microscope equipped with EDS/EBSD system, acquired through NSF MRI under grant number CMMI-1337932, multiple microscopy sample preparation tools, and a laser dissection microscope. The facility provides microscopy service, project consultation, and user training for scanning electron microscopy, sample preparation tools and laser dissection microscopy. The Facility operates on a membership basis to all USU faculty, staff, and students; and a fee-for-service for non-members of USU, non-USU academic institutions, and industry. The facility also provide class demonstrations (no fee) and K-12 outreach (no fee) service. Please contact us for services, by email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone (435)797-8560.
