Awards are given to the best undergraduate and graduate presenters in each category for both poster and oral presentations, for a total of 20 awardees. Awards are given based on feedback from judges who evaluate your presentation using rubrics.

Faculty Judges

Each presentation is judged by a faculty member from the same college as the presenter, with the exception of mixed sessions, which are judged by Merrill-Cazier Library Staff whose interdisciplinary experience makes them excellent judges for those sessions.

Evaluation and Feedback

Each judge will assess your presentation using a rubric. Their feedback will be emailed to you 24 hours after the symposium. Although it is not required, many judges give critical feedback that is emailed to you with your scores if they choose to provide it.

Awards are given to the graduate and undergraduate student with the best poster and oral presentation in each category.
