War in the Modern World: The History Research Capstone Conference
This conference offers senior history majors the chance to present the findings of their senior research “capstone” theses in a setting similar to an academic conference. This semester’s topic is “War in the Modern World.”
Research in the Arts Day is a unique opportunity for students in the Caine College of the Arts to share our passion for research and creative activity with the wider community. While many people don’t think that “research” and “the arts” have much to do with one another, as artists of all sorts and as scholars of the arts, we know that the creative and intellectual processes that go into the making of our work are just as rigorous, as interesting, and as valuable as the research activities of scientists and engineers.
The Department of English will host its 7th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium on April 25th, 2018 in the University Inn, room 510. The symposium will feature a series of undergraduate student presentations, moderated by graduate students, followed by discussion with the audience. Research posters will also be on view.
Symposium organizers are Dr. Ryan Moeller and Dr. Keri Holt. For questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
