Funding Opportunity Resources
It is the mission of the Office of Research and Graduate Studies at USU to facilitate and stimulate research, scholarship, and creative activities. As part of that mission, the Vice President for Research has coordinated efforts to help faculty identify and pursue promising research opportunities. Core elements of that effort include:
Funding Finder Database
The Division of Proposal Development provides a source for funding opportunities that can be located using the Funding Finder Database. For information on Funding Finder and the services offered by the Division of Proposal Development please contact the director of that office, Jerilyn Hansen, at (435) 797-3437 or at email@example.com.
NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Supplements
International engagement is a high priority for Utah State University. USU has a long history of global cooperation in research and education; Global Engagement facilitates the role of USU as a member of the global community. As part of this service, the office monitors online and email resources listing international project opportunities. These include, but are not limited to, grants.gov, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, USAID, US State Department, National Endowment for the Arts, NSF, NIH, and the United Nations Business Development databank. This information is distributed electronically to faculty with a known interest in international research. Global Engagement also works to familiarize itself with University resources and match those resources to funding opportunities.
Global Engagement: Opportunities for International Research Funding
The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program supports active research participation by undergraduate students in the areas of science, engineering, and education.
