Activities in Logan for Families

Logan has many fun activities to help keep kids occupied during the whole year. Take some time away from your long graduate hours to make memories with your family!

 

First Saturdays at the Anthropology Museum 

You can visit the Anthology Museum on the second floor of Old Main regularly on Tuesdays-Fridays from 10 am to 4pm, but on the first Saturday of every month you can take the kids from 10 am to 2 pm for a special educational activity. This has included a variety of opportunities from trying foods from different countries to learning about the art of storytelling. Check out the schedule 

 

Monday movies at the Logan Library 

Every Monday, the Logan Library hosts a free movie showing for the whole family to enjoy. For a list check out the library website. 

 

Nature in Logan 

Logan Canyon is known for its great hiking trails. For some great family friendly trails, look for the Wind Caves, the Logan River Trail, Limber Pine and Bonneville Shoreline. Tony Grove in Logan Canyon has many nature trails and a small lake that kids can play in. First Dam in a great place to take your family for an afternoon picnic. Logan has many great opportunities to experience the great outdoors. 

 

Cache Valley fun park  

The Fun Park can keep kids busy for hours! The facility includes roller skating, an arcade, bowling, and laser tag. This is a perfect activity to treat the kids on an afternoon out. See all the activities. 

 

Stokes Nature Center 

The center is located just after the mouth of Logan Canyon and has many activities and events geared towards kids including free weekly programs. The guides are very knowledgeable and  excited to teach about the natural life in Cache Valley. Check out all the opportunities through the Stokes Nature Center.
