TEDxUSU: Movement

TEDxUSU Movement 2017

The long-awaited TEDxUSU 2017 event took place last Friday and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. Nine speakers from USU (8 professors and 1 grad student) gave their talks from the brand new stage in the beautiful Daine’s Concert Hall here on campus. From artistic forms like dance to creating a social movement these speakers fleshed out this year’s theme by talking about what “Movement” means to them. The TED stage also welcomed the up-and-coming musical talent of Utah’s own, Sammy Brue. The event concluded with an audience activity where attendees folded and threw paper airplanes upon which they’d written what “moves” them.

This year’s talks will be available online in the next few weeks on our YouTube channel but in the meantime, you can always watch last year’s talks!
